Condoplex will support the following technologies for access control and personal safety
Proximity Access Cards
To be carried in one’s wallet or purse, used primarily for short-range applications such as door control.
Active Transponder Cards
Permit long-range read ranges for the purposes of door and automotive access. This technology permits multiple card reads at a single point of entry and can be used without physically presenting the card to the reader. This device is “Active” and thus requires a battery to operate.
Access Key Fobs
To be carried on a keychain, used primarily for short-range applications such as door control. This device is becoming more popular in the Multi-residential market due to its durability.
Transponder Cylinder
Smallest and most durable of the keychain products. This device works with a specialized reader to provide short-range access control. FYI, you may find this same device on many gas stations across North America, typically called the “Speedpass”. This device is passive and as such does not require a battery for operation.
Passive Transponder Disk
Mounted on the windshield of a vehicle for parking access. This is a passive device (requires no battery). It has a shorter reader range than the active tag and can be used in low emission Rf environments.
Access Transmitters
Primarily used to provide access into the underground parking. With optional receivers installed in the suites and common areas of the building, it is capable of summoning instant guard and medical attention.
Combination Proximity and Rf Device
Our best selling device. This small keychain device permits long-range access control for vehicles and provides instant guard or medical services with the press of a button. Its built-in proximity chip permits short-range door control, no user action required.
Combination SmartFOb and Rf Device
Represents the next generation of RfID products. This small keychain device permits long-range access control for vehicles and provides instant guard or medical services with the press of a button. Its built-in smartchip permits short-range door control, no user action required.
Smart Cards
Condoplex will support smart cards to provide the highest level of security on the market. This standard is comparable or higher than Europe’s MIFARE. Advanced encryption and communications will make this device the next standard in RfID control.
Smart Keyfobs
Like smart cards but capable of fitting onto a keychain. Designed to provide the highest level of security on the market. This standard is comparable or higher than Europe’s MIFARE. Advanced encryption and communications will make this device the next standard in RfID control.
